CDS (Australasia) Pty Ltd

Two ways we help schools run on time and stay in sync.

CDS Class Scheduler is purpose-built timetabling and relief-management software for schools — not adapted from a TAFE or university platform. Meridian Education Systems is our consulting practice, helping education institutions get their data and systems talking to each other. Both come from the same place: thirty years working inside education scheduling technology.

Director

CDS (Australasia) Pty Ltd

Thirty years spent in scheduling software and the education sector shape both halves of this business.

CDS Class Scheduler exists because schools are a different scheduling problem to TAFEs and universities, and deserve software built specifically for them, not a cut-down version of an enterprise or higher-education platform.

Meridian Education Systems exists because getting education systems to share data properly is a specialist job, not a side effect of buying new software. Same experience, two different problems worth solving properly.

Product · For Schools

CDS Class Scheduler

Timetabling and relief-management software built specifically for schools — K–12, not TAFE, not university. Designed for the day-to-day reality of running a school timetable, including the parts that break it: staff absence, room clashes, and last-minute changes.

  • Built for schools only — the structure, calendar, and staffing patterns of a K–12 school, not a higher-education timetable adapted to fit.
  • Multiple timetable views — by class, by teacher, by room, and by year group — built from the same underlying schedule so nothing gets out of sync.
  • Relief and cover management designed around how schools actually handle staff absence, not a generic leave-request form.
  • Built for international and private schools across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and the Pacific — the same region CDS has worked in for three decades.
  • Actively developed, with a direct line to the person building it — feedback shapes the next release, not a backlog.

Schools only

Purpose-built for K–12 school structures and calendars — not a TAFE or university platform repurposed.

Relief management

Cover a gap without rebuilding the week. Built around how schools actually respond to staff absence.

Room & resource aware

Clashes get caught before they happen, not discovered by a teacher standing in a locked room.

Built for APAC schools

Designed with the region's international and private school calendars and structures in mind.

Consulting

Meridian Education Systems

Education institutions run on more than one system — a student information system, a scheduling platform, an ERP, sometimes all three. Meridian Education Systems helps them talk to each other properly, drawing on decades of hands-on integration work across the education sector.

  • Education data integration — getting student, timetable, and enrolment data flowing correctly between systems.
  • SIS and ERP integration advisory — independent guidance on how systems should connect, before or during a project.
  • Systems and process review — identifying where data is duplicated, stale, or silently breaking downstream processes.
  • Hands-on delivery, not just a report — the same person who advises can help build and test the integration.

Why CDS

Small, hands-on, and accountable for what we build.

Both CDS Class Scheduler and Meridian Education Systems are run by the people who actually do the work — not handed off to a support queue once the contract is signed.

Thirty years in the field

Decades of hands-on experience in scheduling software and the education sector, not a generalist consultancy applying a template.

Regional focus

Based in Brisbane, working across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and the Pacific — the same institutions and calendars, understood firsthand.
